Visiting Nunwell House and Gardens
I haven't been to Nunwell House and Gardens yet...
The picturesque house has been a family home since 1522 and is of great historic and architectural interest. It was here that Sir John Oglander, was host to Charles I on his last night of freedom and modern day visitors can still see the Parlour Chamber in which they met. The house is beautifully furnished and Nunwell is surrounded by 5 acres of tranquil gardens including a walled garden also enjoying the views across the Solent.
